Apply for membership

To join the IRSE you need to complete a membership application form. The form to use depends upon the category of membership you are applying for, as detailed below. The same forms should be used if you are already an IRSE member and wish to apply for a higher grade of membership.

When you become a member of the IRSE, you are bound by our code of conduct and the membership terms and conditions, which set out our obligations to you, and your obligations to us.

How to Apply

Please do not send any application forms in by post, please scan your application form and associated documents and send to membership@irse.org.  

You will need to find two current IRSE members (further details within the applicable application form for the requirements) to act as proposers for all membership applications (aside the Affiliate grade). If you have difficulties finding two people, please contact the Security within the IRSE Section nearest to you providing information on wishing to join the IRSE and seeking appropriate proposers, or contact the IRSE membership office for assistance membership@irse.org or +44 (0)20 7808 1186.

If your proposers are unable to sign your original form and documents, please ask them to sign and scan their copy, or ask them to provide an email verifying that they have read and support your application for the grade in which you are applying and send it to membership@irse.org. Corporate Grades (voting members): Download and complete application form (proposers required)

Corporate members receive all the benefits of IRSE membership with the addition of voting rights in the IRSE annual Council Elections and post-nominal letters.
